Antenna options?

Just got my Sky and I'm not loving the old school metal aerial antenna. I understand there are some options... Anybody on this thread have any alternatives for sale?

Here is what I put on my car, which was suggested by "SaturnSkyDude". I'd say it works pretty good, and I live out in the country...

B-Series short stubby radio fm/am antenna from StubbyAntenna.com

I too live in the country in summer, so have felt the factory antenna was needed. But of your two antenna's pictured, do you use both or does just one of them do the job?

Buy an Opel GT antenna. Proportionate size and works well.

It's one antenna, it retracts down to a shorty at 4" (which works good in the city and during car shows) and extends up to 11" when you need better reception....

I hadn't seen one like that before. I'm happy with my Opel GT antenna, but if I were swapping the original now, I'd probably go with yours instead.

I'm trying to find the Opel GT GM #25805645 . GMPartsOutlet and GMPartsCentral both say discontinued, not in stock. Have not heard back from GMPartsDirect yet. Anyone find one in stock somewhere?

I copied that part number into eBay.com (as MM always suggests) and it comes up with the part from GM Parts Direct. I added it to the cart and then it wanted a paypal payment. That was where I ended my test. Maybe it would still come up as not available, I didn't find out.

I went to Auto Zone and for, I think $8.00 I got one thats about 10 inches tall and works fine. I do not live way out in the country so I cant speak to that but in all my driving I have no complaints about reception.

I bought a 4" from AutoZone or O'Riley or wherever (they're a mile away from me and a chip shot away from each other). I think I paid $8 or less for it. I call where I live "in the country", but I get the public radio station from KC pretty well.

This Sky's not perfect, but it's perfect...for me

Like 44thSKY noted, I went to GM Parts On line and plugged in the P/N and it too would allow me to buy it. Maybe when they confirm the order it won't be there, but for now it showing stock:
