Mike, Great idea! If the car gets shipped to Beaumont, CA, I'll pay the other $90. Bob, don't give up the garage just yet. LOL

Hey, it would be called 'BEAUMONT BOB'S - KAPPA RECYLERS'.

MM, here is the deal for you and me. You come to Nationals and we will team a team-torture act on the skersfan!! It would be so much fun to meet you, seriously now. You don't have to drive the 0440. Just get on a plane and come to Nationals for whatever time you can spare. We will watch for your message with RtE that you are coming. 44th (and you will meet 44th)

I have said it a million times, MM is one great guy. He will help you anytime you ask, knows a tremendous amount about the cars, and his wit is second to none. Rough around the edges I guess, but after 26 years in the Marine Corps he is kind of a pussy cat to me!!! I hope you come sir, I would love to meet you. Now the 44th Sky dude is just a little nuts, and kind of a PIA. But hell I like him, so I can put up with him. You get MM, 44th and Gassor together, the place won't need any entertainment, that is for sure. 44th, and Gassor have never met a stranger, they will be your best friend within minutes. Have had a lot of fun with 4th and his lovely wife. Can hardly wait till the Annual Meeting.

DaveOC if you can work around the grand daughters birthday, fly out, I will have a seat for you and so will 44th, as his wife and mine will find other things to do around town I would bet!

MM, you get there, you will have rides I promise.

Not rising to the bait.

Assume you fly into Denver, how do you get to Black Hawk?

BTW, I absolutely hate flying. (Long story, but it involves a bunch of flights I barely survived.)

Ding! Check train and bus routing and scheduling.

Not sure Amtrak goes through Denver?? Locals would know. A bus from WI, forget it. I'd stay home.

From DIA to Black Hawk would be a lot of miles, maybe 75. Hertz, ..... then there is Lyft, Uber,?? Don't need a car when you get there. Post on the forum and team up with others w/o Kappas. MM is coming I'm sure.

Amtrack, Milwaukee - Chicago, Amtrack, non-stop, Chicago - Denver, $146 or $259, depending on date.
Casino bus = $20

Hmmm. Something to think about.

Dave, that really is something to think about. That's pretty attractive. And the Denver Metro train now goes back and forth from the airport to downtown Denver where you would get that casino bus.

Oh, that's right you would be into downtown Denver via Amtrak, forget the train from DIA. But in case you fly, it would be handy and needed.

This is sounding fantastic, DaveOC, I really hope you can make it. We will have a ball. I hardly knew anyone at the first National I attended. Had met Rick Flury, Dave at DDM on the phone, as with Rob and Sooner. Met some great people while we there. Like I said, I would bet next months pay check we can get you a ride any day you make it.

I just added the Milwaukee Road train to my collection, I will send some pictures the next time I run it. Of course it is a 50's train.

MM it is looking like no chance to back out. LOL I would almost bet if you show up, I can get Robotech to make it.

I am bringing the motor home and told him he could use it while we were there. His son is getting married and all his cash is going towards that and a trip to Louisian in October. Will keep working on hm.
