Just purchased the K&N Typhoon air intake kit 69-8433TTK only to find out it's too large, I have 6 codes and my turbo goes into limp mode. I live in California so I'm just looking for the OEM to stay smog compliant. Sold my fujita intake before I found out this KNN was not working.
Awesome, I am in San Diego and could make a trip out early next week. How much for the whole kit? Also do you have some photos you could share? Thank you,
I don't have any photos of the set up. I have a couple of them I think. 100.00 should be fair I think. I even have the filter, well pretty sure. I haven't looked at the stuff since I took it off 4 years ago. They are like new.
That price sounds fair to me and you wouldn't consider shipping correct? Also, just to verify this includes items 1, 6, 7 and 13 from the image attached? Thanks
If the buyer is willing to pay, you can just take it to your local box shipping or UPS store. They will find or build a box and pack it for you. No hassle, but more $$.
I spent the whole day buying a new truck for the wife, and I mean the whole frigging day. Just walked in the door. Turned in the Canyon and bought a new Ford Ranger FX4.
I have Dr.'s appointment in the morning and have to work the afternoon. Can not get to storage facility tomorrow or the next day.
I tried the UPS store once before, to ship a Sky spoiler it cost me 110.00 to have them box it and ship it. I don't go in the place anymore. I have a local post office, but they don't package stuff.
Thursday I can try to get everything together. Will let you know then. Once I get it together, I can meet you in Hemet or Temecula.
Great, let me know as Thursday works. I was looking at the new ranger, what made you decide to go with it? I'm looking at a gladiator but the price is steep.
I will not be available tomorrow. I am in the middle of tower lease/conflict with prospective new owner. I have to find an alternative site. So I am going to be busy with it until I find it, or we agree on the issues with the lease agreement/new owner.
I am sorry, but this takes priority over everything I do. I am guessing it will take into next week at the very least.
As to the Ranger, would have preferred to go with the Toyota, but one of the larger after market suppliers for Toyota, told me the Ranger is the best option. The dealer is one of my customers, so got a great price and 0% on it made it a no brainer. Two days and the wife loves it. Turned a GMC Canyon All Terrain in at end of lease. Way more power, with the Ranger and it has Trail Control, which supposedly is better than the Crawl Control from Toyota. The wife drove the Canyon and hated it for the whole 3 years we had it. I don't really know much about the Ranger yet. I know it is fast as heck, 320HP and a lot of torque. I am sure I will drive it after I get this tower site situation ironed out
I just got home, and now get to worry about 80 MPH winds and fire storms. We had one tower damaged in the Hemet/Nuevo fire about a month ago. Things just aren't getting easier.
Yep...but you'd never know it. Man is the busiest retiree I've ever known...
