I don't drag race but launch pretty hard at the autocross track. I think I launch at about 3000-3500. Solid launch, no bog, and no spin other than a chirp.

WOW! Thanks for the feedback, I am surprised that you can launch that high without really smoking the tires. But i remember from some of your other posts that you have some good gripping tires that you run at the autocross.

Make it a good day.

That's the key. There is a reason why you see drag racers have tall sidewall tires that "fold" when they launch. those sidewalls give and allow the car to launch harder as they absorb the shock of the launch between the wheel and the tire's contact patch. This is what makes for those incredible launches.

I have some sticky tires but if I launch too hard, even they will get some wheel spin/hop. Start around 2500 and see what you get then go up or down from there. Keep in mind too that I have a Spec Stage 3+ clutch on the car, not the stock clutch, so it can take some abuse too.

Thanks I will play with it but probably May before our drag strip opens back up. And yes I do have stock clutch and BF Goodrich G-Force Comp-2 A/S stock size tires so will probably have to drop tire pressure a little.

Make it a good day.

On those tires definitely drop pressure. You need that sidewall to give a bit.
