Detailed my Sky

When I bought my car Saturday before last the dealer did their typical wash and detail witch consisted of drenching the car in showroom gloss and coating the engine with what I presume was WD-40 to make everything nice and shiny

So this past Saturday it was time for a real wash. My process was wash, clay bar, wash , compound, polish, and finally wax. I took a few photos and the car looks 100 times better than before

these are the products I used

this is before

and here is after

another before

and after

here is the finished car and it looks so much better than before

also removed the plastic cover and detailed the engine bay

08 Carbon Flash Redline 5 Speed
LDK long block. DDM Works clutch kit, brace bundle, oil catch can and SS brake lines. Stoptech Sport pads with ATE Type 200 fluid. Fujita intake and charge tubes. Gutted stock downpipe. Tuned with HP Tuners.

Thanks, and I'm not really sure of the difference between the two. There are others here that know alot more about detailing than me, maybe they will chime in.

Looks good. So purdity. A buddy of mine bought me a Meguiar's detailer bucket for X-mas. Lots of stuff to try out soon. I spends hours, over several days sometimes. After you get her looking all sweet, time for that show an shine run in it. Eye catcher. Neck snapper. What is that? I don't do car shows. Lot of the time just my normal drive in the SKY is a car show. When she is really clean, spent my time on it, 8 or 10 hours, even the engine bay, suspension is looking good, top down cruise with the looks I get with my SKY,
is sort of an interior smile to myself. Thanks to my dad. He was a car cleaning nut. I was very young but was into his passion for it. Carried over into my old age. My body might not be the same these days, but the passion to have my car looking right, when I am driving it bring me back to those days with my dad, cleaning up my ride.

Bird sh*t on your car hood, is like bird sh*t on you. Sorry not gonna happen to this old boy.

Keep the shining side up!
