Error P0054 and sensor question

Hello all,

I had this error about 3? years ago:
My error code was: P0054 SATURN SKY - HO2S Heater Resistance Bank 1 Sensor 2

I got the last one off of Amazon, but I'm not sure if it is a 'Heater' version, if that makes sense?

I just found this on Amazon and was wondering if this can be it. The 'Garage' feature of Amazon says it fits the car.

Thanks,

Shawn

All O2 sensors have an internal heater so that the sensor will accurately report the oxygen levels in the exhaust. If this heater goes bad, it will throw a code.

That code sounds like a bad internal heater in the O2 sensor. If that O2 fits the car, it will have a heater in it and should work just fine.

I should add that if you don't know it already, this code is for the REAR O2 sensor that is after your Catalytic Converter in the exhaust system under the car...not the one that is before the Catalytic Converter that is either up by the turbo (2.0 Redline cars) or on top of the exhaust manifold (2.4 NA cars).
