This is exactly the reason you bump an old thread.

@Administrator, the images are on the server if you copy and past the image links from the first post in this thread in a browser, you'll find them. I don't know why they're not displaying. I just copied and pasted the links to the images again and they're still coming up blank.

When I tried to view the first image in the first post directly, Firefox presented a warning page which said "Firefox detected a potential security threat and did not continue to www.b17queenofthesky.com". I imagine the photo would have loaded if I accepted the risk, but I didn't take that chance.

I'm on firefox too and didn't get that. Any details on the threat?

Firefox for me, too, and no threats.

Whoop, got it to generate the error and then explain it on the same page, captured it and saved it.

It's a certificate issue. Probably why the images are not displaying in the 1st message of this thread.

https://www.b17queenofthesky.com generates the error.

B-17 Queen of the Sky Homepage works
https://www.b17queenofthesky.com generates the error.

Interesting. @skl8260, is this the same kind of message you get?

#DaveOC , that would make sense since I don't have a SSL cert for that server...never needed one since it was all public content. The URL to the images is an open (HTTP) connection so I don't know why the forum software would be trying to connect to them with an encrypted secure connection. That's odd. @Administrator, any input on this?

EDIT...god I really need to get in there and do some updating...LOL

When I left click on one of the broken image icons, I get nothing. If I right click, then click view image, the warning fills up my screen. I don't know whats going on. Perhaps the forum, which is maintaining a secure connection (https is requiring likewise of the sites it tries to do lookup at?

I haven't done much coding for the last several years, so am not up to snuff on current requirements when linking between sites.

Good luck.

This is weird... When I try to view the post you are referring to from DaveOC, I can't find it. Also, when I log in on this page (#3), it doesn't show me as logged in. Page 2 doesn't either. When I visit page 1, everything is fine.

I'm not surprised about the SSL cert issue causing the image problem. Modern browsers (at least Chrome and FF) are forcing https so the forum software may be changing any non-secure links to secure ones. Any sites that can't deliver secure content will likely result in broken links within the forum.
