Is My DDM OCC Not Working?

Hey guys,

It's been a great Sky Summer so far!!! From Completing my Stage 3 Tune and getting everything running great, to having the car professionally paint corrected, to meeting everyone at NASSAM!!!!

I installed the DDM Oil Catch Can (OCC) this winter as pictured below. I've driven spiritedly about 1500 miles this summer. The car now has 21,000 miles. I opened the lower drain valve the other night to see how much oil I caught so far.

Bone Dry...

Does everything seem to be hooked up correctly to you guys?

I have yet to hear about anyone actually catching oil in their catch can. My thought is that unless you have a problem somewhere you won't. Call it insurance

What they said ^^

Remember that the LNF engine had a whole set of baffles in the valve cover designed to condense and catch the oil vapor before it comes out to that exit point where you have the OCC. Again, your car is working properly and all is good!

It doesn't work. You still are probably blowing oil right through it. I added a JEGS air/oil separator on the outlet side of the DDM catch can and that is what collects oil. The oil catch can is useless.

This one, it actually collects the oil vapor and condenses it.
