VSS (Sensor) Location

Hello I have a 2007 Sky Automatic and need to replace the VSS, I cant find any info as to where its located in the vehicle, any Ideas? Thanks in advance

I would assume its somewhere in the trans. Never had to replace mine though.

The replacement procedure starts out with: "Remove the transmission fluid pan and filter'"

As I interpret this and the drawings, the speed sensors are inside the transmission.

So, Yes, draining the fluid is necessary.

How certain are you that it has to be replaced?
