I am enclosing several pictures of it "off" and "on" from different angles.

This was the third one that Stephen designed for me. It was the first WR that is etched on both sides. The eyes are on the "back side" (front of the car) while the rest of the graphics are etched on the "front side" (rear of the car) as viewed from behind the car.

This was done to create the appearance that they eyes were sunken into the skull and give the impression that they followed you as you moved around behind the car.

As you can see in the "off" pictures, the colors are painted on the etching. The only differences in color are due to the distance from the light source (Rsquared) and the color applied by the artist as part of the manufacturing process.

Using this process, you could do what Marv is suggesting, that is you could illuminate with a white light and have the WR painted in various colors. The preceived color would be created by the painting on the WR and it would tend to loose some intensity as you move away from the bottom center light source.

Hope this helps

In the picture of the WR illuminated the reflected image is from the trunk lid.

A consideration as to color is that at least in the States, blue is reserved for Police agencies and some have been ticketed for showing a blue WR. Also, some law enforcement will get upset if they can see red lights displayed from the front of the vehicle.
Thanks man!

Read all the post but my mind has been working.
What if.. LOL
you were to use a piece of window tint on the clear wind screen towards the inside of the car. Would not that still allow the light to light up the design you wanted and look like smoke in the day time. ?

Yes it would work even if you put the tinted film on the outside of the WR....
