Fast FC08 - New Wheels on the Market

Picked up some new wheels about a month back. Only about 1k shipped. Looks like they just started selling them in April. Not many wheels in our bolt pattern so i figured id share. I have seen people running the FC04 from this company just not any with these yet!

They poke pretty good, id say about 1/4 of an inch. No clearance issues, can go full lock either directions. unless you hit a big bump or are turning extremely hard they will rub the wheel wells for a second.

Im running 9.5s on all 4 corners with 275s. Grips like hell now and i think the car looks much better over OEM. Also vinyl wrapped all the chrome to black so i didnt have 2 metal colors on the car. I think it turned out to be a pretty good transformation, lemme know what ya think (pics attached: sorry theyre blurry, had to resize them down below 200KB so theyd post up)

They look great...

So a few things...how are they for brake clearance, what's their offset, and how much do they weigh?

I'm stealing the idea and will need to get myself at least one set of these for my race tires.

Brake clearance is superb, no issue for big brake kits.

Offset is a +38. Puts the inside of the wheel in the same location as the OEM wheels. All extra width is pushed outside away from car.

Weight is 21lbs a piece, they are flowformed alloy wheels so strength and weight are win wins.

Also since they are a canadian company they come with a coating that protects from road salt and harsh wintry conditions. Plus the finish looks excellent. If you want a better pic of the finish ill send an email with a high quality pic. the website pics dont do them justice, also on the website they look black but are bronze/dark copper.

Curious did you debate a staggered set up? Also is that vinyl wrap on the front fogs?

I did debate a staggered setup. I just wanted to be able to rotate tires, especially since the NT05's are more than 200 a piece in 275..

And yes it is vinyl wrap, i didnt want to have both bronze and chrome metal colors on the car when i swapped the wheels out so i wrapped all the chrome pieces.

I got them from www.canadawheels.ca

They are from Canada, and this is the site the manufacturer recommends buying from, I did have to pay for intl shipping but it really wasn’t bad. I think like 100 bucks. Plus the price they list for is in Canadian dollars and with the exchange rate it ends up being much cheaper than you’d think.

HMMMM! before shipping $750 with the conversion, not bad at all. I was going to re-plastidip my rims in a flat black. I'm kind of tired of the chrome look. Would you say the black's more towards a matte or a gloss? I'm real interested in these.

I did a search for wheels for my Solstice there, but when I clicked on the "Hub Centric" filter, none of the FC wheels were listed. How did you mount these? Did you just rely on the studs to center them?

I went with the 72.6mm bore. just ordered the 20 dollar hub centric rings to go from our oem bore to the aftermarket bore. Really it’s only for centering purposes as the load from the wheels when torqued to spec should all be in the studs and not on the hub. They worked great for me

I see you’re going for a black wheel, these are actually more of a bronze, but the finish looks absolutely great. On their website pics you can’t really see the color that well. If you check the beginning of this thread I posted a close up of the wheel that should give you a better idea of color. I like that it matched my tan top quite nicely

The wheels look great! Love the painted front grill and hood vents too. Did you do them yourself? What did you use?
