Sky Redline MACH Shorty Exhaust Kit

SOLO Performance is proud to offer our Sky Redline MACH Shorty Exhaust Kit. This kit is SOLO's mid-range sounding system. This is for customers who wanted something noisier than the MACH kit, but not quite as loud as the Street Race system. This is the same kit as our Sky Redline MACH Exhaust, except the muffler is reduced from 14" to 11".
  • Dual Exhaust with the free flow MACH muffler.
  • Front Section- Full 3" mandrel stainless pipe with laser cut stainless flange, stainless oxygen sensor bung, 3" double braided flex pipe and additional hanger bracket. This 3" section actually sits " to " higher than the stock 2 ” exhaust.
  • Rear Section – A 3” in, 2 ” dual out, stamped stainless Y pipe exits into two 2 " polished stainless mandrel pipes that enter a SOLO free flow true X design, ceramic and glass packed, polished stainless MACH muffler. Tails with stainless tips completes this rear section.

Having this exhaust on my Sky I have to say I really love it. Not only do I have a little more HP I'm also getting a little better gas mileage. Can't forget to mention the sound is great too.

One other thing about the exhaust that got me to sit up and take notice was my trunk is no longer hot as with the stock muffler. So much so that I took the cooler that I got from LatinVenom out of the trunk. We've been able to put just about anything back there, in our outings, and when we get home the trunk is cool to luke warm. This exhaust is money well spent.

Thanks so much and we are so happy that you are satisfied with your exhaust kit. The trunk can get SUPER hot with the OEM exhaust...so having our kit on there is a nice alternative to insulating the trunk. Maybe we should add that into our description.

Got back Tuesday from Fontana Village NC where we spent 4 days driving Tail of the Dragon, Hellbender, Cherohala Skyway and some others which have no names and I have to say Elvira sounded so sweet driving up and down all those twisties. She was particularly vocal under a load going up the mountain and purred when she was going down the mountain. We were the only roadster there and the echo she gave off in the mountain quietness was soothing to the ears. Even coming home in 5th gear she purred like the big boys. Can you tell I love this exhaust?

HF is short for High Flow. Cat is short for catalytic converter.

Basically, High Flow Catalytic Converters typically provide some reduction in flow restriction at high exhaust gas flow rates.

I'm sure that the vendor here will have much more information about the measured difference the product can make.

Thanks Crimson...you are exactly right! HF means high flow...our converters have a 200 cell internal substrate...the highest flowing ones available. They also come with our 02 extenders that we make, which prevent a CEL (check engine light) from coming on. If you have any questions, please call me anytime at 516-655-9002

I ordered the Mach Shorty kit a week ago. It was delivered to the house in three days and it has the best packaging I have ever seen. The kit came in two boxes and they were extremely well packed. I put the car on the lift and 45 minutes later I had the new exhaust installed. The sound is great, not too overbearing but harsh under full throttle which I love. The kit itself seemed to be measured perfectly and it was a true bolt on. I use a Precision Turbo and I seem to get an extra psi or two out of it. I got to hand it to Solo Performance for such a great kit. Thanks
