Sky Shorty Header

SOLO Performance is proud to offer our Sky Shorty Header. We have been working on our shorty direct fit header for quite some time. We have achieved an amazing blend of performance gains, looks, and price. The header is made form T304 aircraft quality polished stainless steel and tig welded. The flanges, one of the common problem areas for headers, are extra thick for long lasting durability.

Hey Skip...the SOLO Shorty Headers fit the 2.4L engine only. The 2.0L engine is designed differently, for a turbo of course, and would require a new manifold.

I personally watched Jeff install a set on Revman's Solstice at the NY Mod Meet in January...it's very straight forward. If you are thinking of getting a supercharger, you would probably want to get the headers beforehand, because the SC needs to be removed in order to get to the OEM headers for removal, and reinstallation of the new shorty headers.

Do you think that you will ever make a long tube header with your high flow cat? Just thinking should I want to go with the supercharger up grade, especially Stage III, it would be nice not to have to pay anymore duty than necessary, especially after paying the difference in the dollar.

We don't have any plans for a long tube header, as DDMWorks makes a quality one right now that is already in the market. We highly recommend them and Dave from DDMWorks has installed some with our exhaust kits and converters. Give Dave at DDMWorks a call and he can answer your questions regarding fitment of their long tube header with our catalytic converter.
