Solo Mach Quad Tip Kits

Solo Performance is proud to offer our Quad Tip MACH and MACH Shorty exhaust kits for the Sky Redline. We have been working to make our kits even more affordable.

The MACH system is SOLO's quietest exhaust for the Sky Redline. This Sky Redline MACH kit was developed primarily for people that want quieter high performance. This system uses SOLO’s MACH series dual in, dual out, true X design muffler. Here are some attributes of our Sky Redline MACH system:
  • Dual Exhaust with the free flow MACH muffler.
  • Front Section- Full 3" mandrel stainless pipe with laser cut stainless flange, stainless oxygen sensor bung, 3" double braided flex pipe and additional hanger bracket. This 3" section actually sits " to " higher than the stock 2 ” exhaust.
  • Rear Section – A 3” in, 2 ” dual out, stamped stainless Y pipe exits into two 2 " polished stainless mandrel pipes that enter a SOLO free flow true X design, ceramic and glass packed, polished stainless MACH muffler. Tails with stainless tips completes this rear section.
  • Sound- Quieter performance is what this system offers. A beautiful smooth sound.

The MACH Shorty kit is SOLO's mid-range sounding system. This is for customers who wanted something noisier than the MACH kit, but not quite as loud as the Street Race system. This is the same kit as our Sky Redline MACH Exhaust, except the muffler is reduced from 14" to 11".

Nice tips Rich!!!

and the MOD Bug begins!!!

you gotta have the SOLO hi-flow cat!!! To optimize the free flow of your exhaust. Currently, you still have a "bottle-neck" due to your OEM cat.

once you remove that..........more hp and tq.....and quicker spooling turbo!

plus of course, the SOLO exhaust sound will be more amplified!!!

I have the Mach exhaust with the hi-flow cat on a 2.4 DDM supercharged Sky. If your gonna go to the trouble and expense for the exhaust, get the cat also. Just remember, the hi-flow cat makes it a little louder so that it kinda drowns out the sound of the supercharger whine. I installed the Mach exhaust and hi-flow cat. It's an easy job for a shade tree mechanic. I had a question and Jeff was very helpful when I called. Be forewarned! Jeff's cell phone is a Canada number so, if you have unlimited long distance like I do with AT&T, it's not free to Canada. But, it was a small price for the help I got from Jeff. He's a good guy. Solo is a good product. Again, get the cat.

Do you have the resonator with your set up?

Yes. As I recall, its a 3" pipe from the cat to the resonator and then splits into two 2.5" pipes out of the resonator. The muffler is double in/double out.

This is what I'm looking to go with, from what I've heard on other vehicles, it is definitely quieter than my magnaflow, especially at cruise speeds with top up.

I don't know about it being quieter than the Magnaflow. I have an 07 Sky 2.4, manual tranny with the magnaflow exhaust and GMPP CAI. I also have (my wife's car) an 08 Sky automatic with the DDM supercharger, Solo hi-flow cat and Solo Mach exhaust. I think my wife's car is louder. But is is because of the hi-flow cat or the supercharger? Without the hi-flow cat, it would not be as loud. Maybe RickD can speak up. He has heard both of our cars and he has a DDM supercharged sky with a redline exhaust.

Let me know if I can be of any help. If you would like to place an order or ask me any questions, please call me at 516-655-9002. I have had every combination exhaust and cat on my Solstice. I have had Mach, Mach Shorty, Street Race, Center Duals on my old 2.4, currently have a stacked setup with no cat. Had it with the stock cat and HF cat also. The cat makes a HUGE difference in sound, moreso than the actual exhaust kit. The cat is what restricts the exhaust most on both the Solstice and Sky.
