Rag Top Mending

Wondering if there might be an appropriate way to mend lightly frayed (if that's how you spell it) convertible tops. I notice on the drivers side of my Sky the edge near the rear of the window is warn through most likely by constant entering and exiting by the driver. Curious if anyone has had success in mending this condition.

Mending - not really. You might help by a gentle application of open frame (repeat GENTLE) to melt/seal the fibers.

Bigger question is where is the fraying? Do you have pictures? There are a couple of known wear issues that should be fixed ASAP and we can help if we know where.

Thanks for the recommendation. I'll try the 'gentle' open flame. I'll take a pic post it if that doesn't work.

No, to be clear - take a pic so we can see exactly where the wear area is. Depending on that, we may be able to recommend a fix to avoid further wear.
