Update: As promised gang more Dash Cam in the Sky. Few more uploads today including Rt. 227 at the Nationals this past June.

Couple others from my list of Twisty fun-n-Run in MD.

I will be adding more roads in the future. Stay tuned to LAC Films for features like: "Back to Canal Rd " & "Another go round with RT 550 North " I will be adding a special section on the Civil War Antietam 2017 & Gettysburg 2018, for my good friends, Robo, & skersfan out in CA. to drool over some! Torture.

2018 brings the fun one for me. Across the state run, mountains to the sea. Smithsburg to Fenwick Island, MD. Don't miss that one gang. 3 days, 2 night 450 mile run and back. 2 Cams and a written blog in the Albums section of this page. Next June/July possibly?

You-Tube LAC Films home page. Watch and enjoy, I did.

Adding a few photos today from the Nationals Meet. I also added the blog of the trip see album title: NASSAM 2017 for a few words by me about my trip and stay at this event. I do have to re-size all the Go-Pro photos I took, and hope to have the video's up soon.

The Sky held up well during it's run to Lexington. No real issues with it as I took it for a short run on Sunday with my grandson. New damage under the front bumper from the low spots at the gas station stop.

Current mileage as of 6/25/17 : 35,939 it still turns heads when I take it out and about. Lot of attention during my trip.

Hope to do the Fenwick Island, Md. run soon with more photos and a blog about that trip soon gang.

2017 update: Having just returned from the National Meet in Lexington, Ky. I wanted to thank John and his support staff for the great time I had there. Wonderful group of owners, lot of different cars that attended this meet.

I hope to have an album of photos posted soon, with a few videos of the run I took Rt. 227. What a great road full of twisty stuff and brand new asphalt section that had us all smiling that "permagrin" we owners of the Kappa are known for.

Thanks again to all who made it to the event and stay tuned in gang for future posts and photos.

]2016 update: Just turned over 30k in the SKY this past weekend. Nice cruise of 300 miles. Holding up well. 24.8 mpg to 28 mpg hwy. New tires for it soon. Gas prices are low right now. Good for the SKY and me. Warmer weather approaching here soon. Time for the top to come down!

Hoping to take a run down to the ocean later this summer. Across the state run. Camera's running from the mountains, across the Bay Bridge to the eastern shore. Happy hour at the beach, I can work with that.

Just to think, a few weeks ago my SKY was buried up to the mirrors. Not good. Have to add that one photo album. There will be no flying today!

I will do another update later this year, around the Fenwick Island Run. 400 plus miles, few photos, and a personal log of the trip. Few things about how the car did, my impressions of the run. If it is anything like the DCL Run in Sept. 2015, I am already looking forward to it. Later gang. Thanks.

1 year update. My how time fly's when your having fun. It's been a year now, since I bought my SKY. Mileage is just over 22,000. Mpg is averaging about 24.8 in mostly city driving. Problems that I have had, outside of the recall, have been minor. A new chip in the paint. New chip in the windshield. Trunk hinge support bracket for the torsion bar, has broken. Car has been serviced and running great. Still grab's people's attention wherever I go with it. Do I still have the perm-a-grin? Plastered all over my face! Complaints? Yeah some but they are very minor. Was it worth it? You bet.

Been almost a month now. Here is the lastest. Went for a great weekend cruise this past weekend. 337 miles. First real long cruise in the RL. Everything you can imagine, except snow. Car did well, mpg is still going up 27.8 so far. Spent about $60 in gas, still have some left, and that is good with these prices. Jeez give us a break. Minor annoying stuff still on the list to do, but over all it is everything I had hoped for when I bought the SKY. What a fun drive that was. My daughter's wedding wasn't too bad either.
