Someone may want an aftermarket BOV for a few reasons.

    1. The stock unit has failed/ripped.
    2. They have switched to a turbo that lacks an internal Bypass Valve/BOV.
    3. They want the sound a aftermarket BOV creates.
    4. Because...racecar.

Only the turbo GEN2 2.0 is called the LNF. The LDK is a updated variant of the LNF. The LHU is a flex fuel version of the LDK.

The Supercharged GEN1 2.0 was the LSJ. The LK9 was the turbo version of the GEN1 2.0.

The LAT is the LE5 but when used in a hybrid vehicle and the LE9 is a E85 compatible version of the LE5 2.4 NA engine.

As you can see, the same engine, depending on configuration, can have a couple different designations. To see more, check out this link.

OK, I thought maybe LNF had some meaning. Is the naturally aspirated 2.0 also called LNF, or only the Turbo version?

BlueRL, LNF is the three letter code used to designate the Ecotec 2.0 Direct Injected Turbo engine found in the Sky Redline. By contrast, the Ecotec 2.4 Naturally Aspirated engine found in the Base model is the LE5.

All GM engines are usually referred to this way. For instance, the V8 in the Z/28 Camaro is the LS7. The V8 found in the GTO is the LS1 and later, the LS2. The LS3 was the V8 Engine used by the Mallett company when making their models of the Sky and Solstice.

I was wrong. I still need you. I could not change the email address on my BlueRL account. It would not accept the change. Maybe my Win 10 system is not compatible with your system??

I dont think I really need two accounts.. I think I can just change the email address on this one in the user interface. The other one can just fade away.
