    Hi Jeff,

I am very interested on some more details about your tires/Wheels. I am driving also a Saturn Sky / Opel GT and I am searching the right dimension for my Wheels. What is the offset from your rims?

Would be great to get some support from you.

My car is looking like this:

    Kind Regards

    Hey Jeff,

Thanks for all the answers on the other wheel thread, I really appreciate it. I wanted to ask a favor, if it's not too much trouble. Do you think at some point you might be able to grab me a closeup picture(s) of the wheels, showing the re-drilled holes? I would potentially be spending a bunch of money on these, and I just want to make sure that I know what I'm getting into. Like I said, I have a feeling the wheel shop won't consider painting them for me, so I'm curious what would be involved.

If you're not able to get a pic or two, I completely understand, you've already helped me so much so far!

If you can, you can post on here, or message to my cell 5185692210 or email [email protected] (I'm not sure if we can even post contact info??)

    Thanks so much!

You should be good with stock suspension, when I did it I had lowering springs and not the stock springs. As for that rear axle issue, it was pretty much depth of the center compared to stock, would it had been different at a different offset had I not gone so wide in the back, not sure, I do like the width in back, I am really pleased with the tires, look, ride (on smooth roads). Would love to get this thing to ride a little softer but I think when I changed out the front and rear sway bars, I added that hard sport feel to it, even when I run the coilovers real soft.

Thanks very much for the answers.

So do you think with just stock suspension I would have any issues with rubbing?

As far as the axle spindle coming out too far on the back, was that due to the staggered real rims being larger, or do you think that would've happened even if all 4 rims were the same size? (in other words, does the rear axle spindle simply come out further than it does in the front)?

    Thanks again!

Clearance-I had the Eibach lowering springs, if I hit a bump real hard, for some reason, only my drivers side would come down and rub the fender. Could just be my car, clearance between the pass and driver was different, pass never rubbed, since then I installed BC coil overs, all is good now, because I can adjust. By the way, I live in Ohio, so we have the same concerns about roads.

Caps, no, dealer and Ruff Racing never came through, I had another idea in mind. I swapped out all four brakes and rotors with 14" front and rear and put Wilwoods on it. I took the opportunity to remove a half inch (CUT) from the axle spindle and all is good now. Tricky if somebody in the future removes the hub and installs a new one, going to have to be clever, compress manually till they get some thread and then they should be ok. Not doubt be me anyway. Did the brake job with TCE Performance, set me back a few thousand, but I get a lot of looks when folks see it.

Hey Jeff, I just got a Sky over the summer and came across your post about the wheel/tire upgrade. I think it looks awesome and have been thinking about doing the same thing. Did you ever get the back wheel center cap situation figured out? Did Ruff Racing end up sending you caps that would go on?

Aside from that, have you had any issues with the wheels since then, anything you wish you'd do differently, etc? One of my concerns is that it looks like the clearance space between the wheel and the the wheel well is extremely small, so any kind of bumps on the road would case the wheel to hit up against the car. I live in upstate NY and the roads aren't always the best, so I'm not sure if this is a valid concern or not. What do you think?

    Thanks in advance!
