|Robotech||Okay, the route has been finalized. Mid-way stop will be atop the parking structure at the Pala Resort and Casino. It's a big spot where we should EASILY fit all those that have made the first half of the run and those that will be joining us for the second half. There is a gas station at the entrance to the parking garage for those needing to fuel up as well. The web site has been updated with this information and I hope to have the updated route guide done by the end of this week.|

We are very fortunate to have an active club here in So Cal for the Kappa folks. Every month we have an event. This will be our event for April.
You need to come on out and...
(That's on the back of a stop sign at Bombay Beach and was taken during last year's event...)

|Specter||Still extremely jealous. Too bad the Jacksonville Roadsters are so far south of me. I think they are the only active Kappa club on the East Coast, to be honest. le sigh.|

Not yet but hope to get that set in stone by this weekend. Website is also updated with newer information and I hope to have 99% of that updated today with only the mid way meeting point left to be determined and any necessary tweaks to the timeline because of that change.
Wind Restrictor, we'd love to have you out! It is a great drive!
SaturnSkyRedline2015, you too. I can't promise snow on the ground in the mountains (that was really a nice surprise and really was cool) but the views are even more impressive in person. The roads are a blast too!

|skersfan||Has the midway point been set yet Robo? I am not sure how I plan on doing this, but want to bring the Mallett car for the San Diego club members to see it. It will be its first run(lol) trailered that is. Would like to do the first half of the run, then pick up the motorhome and trailer and head home from there. Not going to Dana Point.|

And a few more...

And on Facebook.
This year may be a bit smaller since I haven't been able to promote it like I did last year. The route, times and stops will be the same other than a change to the meet up/fuel up spot in Fallbrook.
Keep in mind, for those that are not aware, this is all in ONE day. You can see from the pictures above how diverse the terrain and weather were.
This run was to prove that there are few places in the world like So Cal. You can have breakfast in the desert, lunch in the mountains, and dinner by the sea...and we did...and if you missed it last year, be sure to come on out this year!

A few pictures I've uploaded from last years event:

|SaturnSkyRedline2015||Robo, thanks for the offer, it's a long drive from Ontario down to CA, but I'm sure it would be epic. Hope you post up a ton of pics after your run. Would love to see them.|

Yea, I've been slacking.
Going to be doing some recon and web site work this weekend. Big fun. LOL
Last year SaturnSkyRedline2015, we had snow in the mountains! LOL So you went from this nice, sunny, warm desert, up into the cold, cloudy mountains with some snow on the ground, to a bright sunshine filled beach. LOL It was like every weather condition and temperature range you'd expect over an entire year in So Cal in one day. You may need to come down and join us! LOL

|SaturnSkyRedline2015||That would be an amazing run. No desert, mountains or sea anywhere near here.|
