Robotech That picture is going to give me nightmares wspohn, thanks. LOL

Looks like some freakish blood sucking larva you hear about living in the Amazon Rain Forest that crawls into various body orifices and makes itself at home...<SHIVER>

Yeah, not real attractive... in fact, add a little red on the top and bottom and paint the middle white and it would look like the Incredible Mr. Limpet mobile.

JohnWR Isn't that just a rendering? The real thing is almost certain to have something in the front.

Taz I like it. Kinda looks like ours without the humps. Still think it needs some type of grill, even if it's just a chrome strip.

Elff i like that

wspohn I kind of preferred the original Tesla sports body, but I'm sure the new one will fit real people a bit better. I've just never found the S2000 look to be that interesting.

The Japanese most often have generic uninteresting styling even when they are trying not to. Give a car to the Japanese to design and it comes out looking like a household appliance. Give the same concept to an Italian firm and it comes out looking like a naked lady in profile!

Why Tesla would copy the Japanese idiom I have no idea. Who is doing body styling for Tesla now? Ironic if it is still Franz von Holzhausen, who worked on the Kappas.

Specter Reminds me a lot of one of the Nissan 240s or rx7. Looks good though.

Robotech Looks good. A bit like the S2000 and Miata had a baby. A bit of Z4 in there too with that little fender vent and silver color.

carnut122 It's out of my price category, but I'm sure it'll be crazy fast.
