|slsmag||If you haven't already started pulling things apart, you might want to go to a local tuning/performance shop and get a baseline dyno done so that you can compare your before and after numbers.|

|KVandenh1||Thought my project was going to start today since I had packages being delivered. Only got half my order from GM parts direct and didn't get the turbo from RPM. More waiting..|

|KVandenh1||Everything I know of or have been told to get has been ordered! I debated water pump or not since the car only has about 35k on it but since everything is already going to be apart and it's only $60 I ordered it. Car comes out of storage next weekend! Then will go into my garage until this project is completed!|

|Ssky||Also lift the engine as much as possible from the passenger's side it would be so much easier, it only took 3:30 hrs to remove the turbo|

|KVandenh1||Added T-clamps, gaskets, coolant, and Intercooler to my list! My car comes out of storage in a few weeks so it is getting close to placing this order!|

-Upgrade all clamps (charge pipes, throttle body) with t-clamps
-Replace the turbo-exhaust manifold gasket, oil return gasket, all the banjos gaskets
-Make sure all nuts from the exhaust manifold ar tight, if possible replace all studs and nuts
-optional: replace the thermostat and water pump, it would take one more hour of work

|Dabman||I did the RPM Stage 3 to my car this winter. Didn't need to disconnect the motor mounts and jack up the motor to get the stock cat out. Just be patient and twist till it comes out. I opted for the catless, but I'm really questioning that decision, I'm going to make a final decision after I am finally able to drive it around and smell the difference. I've been starting the car in my garage and it does smell like raw exhaust.|

I can't think of anything off the top of my head (which means it will pop in later...LOL)
Special tools? No, but look up Solo performance's video on swapping out the cat. Our cat is a special kind of puzzle to get in and out. The video makes it very easy.

RPM Stage 3 Order, What else needed?
I am about to order RPMs stage 3 kit for my 09 manual redline and wanted to ask if I am missing anything or should order anything else with it. Below is what I am planning on ordering.
I don't currently have any performance upgrades. I don't plan on getting a CAI because everything I read is it is a visual upgrade and doesn't impact performance.
I am in MI and I drive the car every dry day from May-Oct.
Lastly if there are any tips or tricks to installing this kit or any tools that make install that much easier I want to hear about it!
