...from all coilovers known for the kappa platform, the k-sport has the stiffest springs with springrates messured in metric kilogram, printed on the springs. 13 or 14 kg is up to three times stiffer than the stock springs or two times stiffer than bc- coilovers.
The k-sport is good for autocross only and ways to stiff for a daily driver.
With k-sport coilovers with springrates line this, the car is jumping like a young deer on bad roads in the mountainside.

|TopDown13||I spoke with Ksport. They do not recommend softening the springs more than 2K, so that would mean 12K up front and 10K in back.|

Your pics look different on the bottom threaded portion. Mine are the same for front and back, you are instructed to just thread them in at different amounts. The ones marked Rear were threaded much less out of the box, making them longer than the front which is expected.
I'm afraid I got 4 pairs of front springs (14k), or the left and right side of the car has different rate springs . It's not horrible, but once ksport can answer I'll decide what to do. Gut feeling is still go with 12k front and 10k rear to make it a little more comfortable and get rid of harmonics/pogo. A softer rear may also help with some squat/traction. As Robotech said, the shocks are valved for certain rate springs - don't want it to blow out or bottom out.
180mm is probably fine, they don't have a lot of travel anyway.
The bracing will likely change the chassis frequency which is why everyone loves them. I'll get the bundle soon, it's finally cool out

For your ride height, you want to measure it from the frame rails on the bottom of the car near each wheel to the ground. Keep the front and rear equal or have the front SLIGHTLY (like 0.5" or less) lower than the rear. I can't remember what the SCCA guys ran these at back in the late 2000s...I'd have to look it up.

BTW the Ksport springs that come with the CST010-KP Kontrol Pro are 180mm in length (not sure why the front ones are marked 14-13 as opposed to just 14, 13, or 13.5). Photos attached.

A few people on this forum have recommended spring rates on their BC coilovers of 5K front/6K back or 6K front/7K back (incl. Robo). Since I can get these Ksports for $625, it might make sense if I also get lower rate springs from Ksport (@ $50 per pair). Their website shows several in the 6K-8K range (as well as 9K-10K) but they range in length from 140mm - 270 mm.
Any advice for spring rate/spring length combo? I live in Southern California where road conditions are pretty good. This is my daily driver, but I also like to zoom around in the hills and canyons (and cloverleaf on-ramps). I'd like to lower the front about 15mm and the back about 30 mm compared to stock (much like a280z's), so not too drastic.

|TopDown13||You'll like the DDM center tunnel brace and rear brace. You might consider just getting the Brace Bundle which includes the Venom engine bay brace. The trio made a noticeable difference to me.|

Well well well... will you look at that. I did take a pic of the front and rear spring markings in one of the pics above! - 14 13 180mm. The less visible threads shock is the front shock, and the longer visible thread one was labeled rear shocks as shipped.
Having the same rate front and back is a definite no-no. Will be chatting with Ksport USA tomorrow to get some feedback as to why they shipped with same rate, and if a 12k/10k or other front/rear combo would be better.
I believe the rear stock spring rate was actually higher than front with the factory Redline Bilsteins, but not sure of the technical detail as to why.
Can't believe I've done this twice in my life now. Once on the Twin Engine Talon (8k coilovers (450lb/in) front and rear, (this was scary as **** for the limited daily driving). Swapped within a month to 7k front, 8k rear with anti-squat geometry changes to the rear "front" suspension. And now again with this car. #SMH .

Well made, however they may be more suited to track, auto-x, and smooth road spirited driving rather than daily driving. One adjustment for damping and rebound introduces compromise; I wish I could leave the damping where it is, and increase the rebound a bit. I've found it to be good half way (16 clicks down from 1-32 range, all around)
I think if you put the 12k spring rate springs up front, and get 10k in the rear ($50), it would be better suited for daily driving. I'm actually considering it. I had some harmonic issues, which made me think the rates are actually 12k or 14k all around but haven't inspected that close since install. Will let you know if the marking on both springs are the same (should not be but never took clear picture or compared front and back, just left and right).
At $5-600, I would recommend. Over that maybe something else could be better depending on your use.
Plus side of having springs that stiff is flat cornering, and no bottoming out or rub. Downside is some larger bumps appear to unsettle the car. Roads around here are not that great. Back in Illinois these would work well as is for daily. Small bumps and irregular road/cracks are much like factory. No new noises or rattles were introduced. Looking at that center tunnel brace and rear brace now.

|a280z||Dropping the corners from 3 clicks to full stiff to 6 clicks made a world of difference. The back would unsettle on smooth swales, which could be dangerous. Ride quality improved, almost like stock felt like but still sporty.|
