GOINGSOLO2 You really will not hear it through the exhaust, but you will hear it from under the hood. Catless might be a bit loud to hear it as much, but I heard mine

Bleu I know I'm necroing an old thread, but does this exhaust with a HF cat or catless allow you to hear the turbo whistle?

Coming from my 01 GT with American Thunder Flows on it to the stock Sky, the volume decrease inside is actually pleasant. (Maybe I am getting old, but I do like the roar it makes when you do open her up). Sky sky sounds good but man is it way to quiet stock. The injectors are louder than the exhaust.
The Street Race sounds fairly calm on the interior when using the stock cat. If you upgrade to the stock cat, then it will not be as quiet as you would like. In that case, I would go with a Mach kit with a HF cat. If you're sticking with just the exhaust, and don't plan on upgrading the cat in the future, then the Street Race will be fine. Most of the sound goes to the rear, but with the top down you will definitely hear it. Cruising is about a 5 out of 10, with 10 being the loudest, with the stock cat. Adding a high flow cat brings that to an 8. Adding a catless downpipe will bring that to a 10 of 10. I hope this is helpful and happy shopping

Koobie I keep trying to bug my wife to let me pull the trigger on exhaust for her car, but she keeps saying responsible things such as: "We need to pay stuff off first!"

Dino This exhaust system is awesome!!!

I think i'm the only one in germany who owns the street race exhaust and could not be happier about the aggressive sound and all those turning heads

Now driving Opel GT makes me turning off the car radio

Vegeman I just had my SOLO Street Race Exhaust installed and it is awesome. When I had it installed the shop technician wanted to know where I bought it because "it was the best system" he has ever seen. This was an older experienced mechanic. The sound is great. I have lambo doors on my car, pull into a gas station and a guy walks up and comments on the sound of the car and doesn't even look at the doors. When I ordered the kit, I had ordered quad tips but got the rectangular ones. I called up the guys at SOLO and they sent the replacement tips in 2 days. Easy swap and sent the rectangular ones back. They responded immediately and obviously cared that I was satisfied with my order. I have to say that this is one of the best buys I have ever made for a car. Gave me nice pep, and the sound is exactly what I could hope for.

GOINGSOLO2 It's pretty considerable because the OEM muffler and OEM cat are very heavy. I believe the weight savings in somewhere in the 30+ pound range.
