The Songbird Thank you. SOLD
The Windscreen was sold this morning on the Bay.

skersfan Honestly it is useless if it doesn't have the mounting hardware. They never wear out. Getting that hardware is by far the hardest part on these these. Good luck on the sale.

Been there,

done that. It was in the back when they purchased, asked what it was, said they didn't want it! They didn't want the after market car cover either! Both have use in them, so I kept them.

JohnWR You may have already done this, but I would contact the person I sold the car to, to see if they want it..

Flyswatter OEM for sale

I have an original, LIKE NEW, only installed 1 time. Mounting posts are 8 1/4" center to center. Black. $100 plus actual shipping cost. (no mounting hardware, stayed on sold Sky)

skersfan No tools, it fits in the original flyswatter holes. Just drops in. If you do not have the fly swatter holes, it is not going to work. They do not come with it, and I seriously doubt they are available anywhere. I do not know yet if it works with the top up. I had a special case made for it, actually picked it up today. Really is a sweet looking piece. Just have not had time to mess with it. Maybe over the weekend I can answer your questions.

ZPM I'll take that as yes, yes, and yes!

Just to be clear, this one omits the flyswatter mounting hardware and just uses the holes, but you fasten it down with tools?

ZPM I see the Euro one Saturnskydude posted a photo of. Looks like you remove the flyswatter's mounts and fasten the Euro on into place with tools. Looks nice!

I don't know if the original fly swatter type is available. Will try to get the Cabrio one on the car soon. It does look very nice.

marlboromike The windreflector may block some viewing if u want to film the rear view with a camera...but WindRestrictors product is far superior in design for our car. Everyone that views my car always comments on it. The etched design cannot be compared to anything on the market.

I'll be touring sights around Austin this year. I thought it might be interesting to capture some of the scenery with a camera and put together a collection at the end of summer, set to music. The OEM screen is slightly above headrest height and would create a sizable blank spot. Being able to see the back deck, antenna, and wing really works for the visual. Would hate to lose that.

On the other hand, I prefer the screen style from a driver's perspective. What I might do is get both and use the clear one when I want to use the camera.

I think the OEM has the appeal having a higher class appearance, and there's the original GM aspect. However, the clear one doesn't require me to drill holes into my car and seems to offer better visibility.

Also, I like to shoot video such as this one. Would the OEM one be too obstructive?
