Here is the beginnings of a great year. Our 2014 event calendar is starting to shape up nicely, but there are several empty spots still, if you haven't hosted a run yet we would love to have you plan an outing/excuse for us all to get our cars out on the open road and share a day together. Please contact me if you would like to take one of the dates on the calendar that haven't been taken yet. It doesn't need to be a long elaborate drive, it can be a simple lunch and a drive around the block to ice cream, a nice bocce game, go carts, picnic, mini golf, BBQ races (Dave would most likely win this due to past experience), museum, etc. In order for us to remain a viable club we need members to plan events. Thanks, Barbara

Mustard Run II

Yep, back by popular demand we are in the planing stage of a repeat Napa Valley Mustard run. The focus of this event is to drive through the valley seeking out and taking in the beautiful mustard fields, stopping where we can for photos. This event is tentatively scheduled for SUNDAY APRIL 27th. So, mark your calendars and stand-by for updated information coming soon.

This event will be hosted by Bill & Patricia (EbonySky)

Another event in the works

A trip hosted by EbonySky to the California Automobile Museum, www.calautomuseum.org located in Sacramento. This low profile auto museum looks like an interesting place for a car club destination followed by lunch in the Old Town Sac area. Maybe a cruise to Delta area for lunch...wait and see.

Stay tuned for more on this event.

This sounds like a great run. Would it be possible to schedule it on a Saturday?

We have an active club member that has the same problem, but they work Saturdays. I'll check with them and see what we can do. Stay posted.

Updated Calendar of Events

Here is the current updated calendar of events for the WCKCC 2014 year. As you can see we really need somebody to take on Oct. 19th. If you have never planned an outing/lunch for the club and would like to please let us know and we will get you on the schedule. We can also lend a hand with routes and planning if you need help. For our club to stay a club we need people to volunteer to plan runs for us. Thanks

Yes, I see this, Thank you.
I would like to plan an event to the San Jose car show, and a nice ride up Mt Hamilton. I am planning on doing this later on in the year, and will give everybody at least a months notice.

Go Thunda,

Any trick to getting the thumbnails to open. I have tried many times on this site and have never been able to see or read them. Just sets with a black square.

Not sure what this means? The calendar is a jpeg and can't be altered from here but I was able to look at it with no problem. Barbara

I have the problem on every one, be it in the calendar or in any thread. Must be a setting on my laptop. Will try the PC.
