This Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 28 Classes in 24 races. There's a couple of Solstices entered into STU and another couple in T4, both races on Sunday afternoon. All races will be streamed from the runoffs page, right column.

This is the first time they have ever run on the Indianapolis road track, the same as was used by F1 and also by Indycar.

This is amateur road racing at it's best.

Nice. I'll see if I can stream it this weekend. I'm in a race myself this weekend in Galveston. Dragon Boat race all day Saturday.

The Solstices aren't super competitive at Indy. Rob Huffmaster in a 2006 Honda S2000 is on the pole, 3 seconds a lap faster than his Dad in a Solstice GXP, which won this class a couple of years ago.

The Indy course has a couple of long straights that reward the better aerodynamics cars, and the kappas have aero approaching a brick.

The same goes in T4. I had a discussion with Matt Downing last year, and he said the Solstices were down 8 mph of the leaders due to aero.

We'll see come Sunday!

Hey, are there any streaming sites carrying the events tomorrow. Looks like our boys are running tomorrow in T4 (1:00 pm right after lunch) and STU (3:40 pm).
Go to the first link in my first message in this thread, then there is a link at the top of the right column, "Live timing, audio, video"

That'll take you to the live stream.

See you there!

In STU (Super Touring Under 2 liter) Ray Huffmaster came in 2nd, about 4 secounds behind the winner in his Solstice GXP. This car was National Champion in 2012 in the hands of his son, Rob Huffmaster. Charles Tobel finished 25th, 11 laps down, not running at the finish, also in a Solstice GXP.

In T4, Matt Downing finished 22nd and Michael Dalton finished 31st, Both in NA Solstices.

Next year the National Championships will be at Sonoma Raceway in California, October 15 to 21, 2018.

Wish I could have reported better results, but that's racing.

I didn't get to stream the race this weekend but me and my team did all walk away with gold medals in the races.
We placed first in all three of our heats.

Do you know what happened to Tobel's car? Huffmaster did great as he was closing the gap with the leader after he acquired 2nd. Whether that was because the leader backed off or because he was doing that good but still.

Kind of want to get a Kappa group together for Sonoma next year to go cheer the teams on.
