American tuner Mallett Cars is planning a high-performance version of the Saturn Sky. Mallett already sells two hotrod versions of the Pontiac Solstice. The first version sells for $37,995, can hit 60 mph in 4.2 seconds, and can beat a C6 Corvette through the quarter-mile. A top-end supercharged conversion package adds another 200 horsepower. The 600-hp beast can be had for around $60,000. “The Mallett V8 Solstice has been, and continues to be, a huge success,” the company said in a statement. “The Saturn Sky promisses to be yet another high performance addition to the Mallett Collection.” We’ll keep you posted as more details emerge…

Wow - Everybody on this forum could have a blast with a 600 hp Sky. Look at all the money each town or city could make after giving all of us speeding and drag racing ticks. That could solve part of the national debt.
Someone's already got one in the works...

Wait a sec.. that pricing is a bit wrong from what I know. the "Preferred Package" should be about $21,900 *Used to be 19,995 but they stated their costs went up.* $37,995 is closer to what the total was for the Solstice with Base Package *Including car* until the prices went up.
I'm sure a "Zoom Zoom" is not able to keep up with this Baby :driving:
Problem with that much power is control. Keeping the wheels and the car itself from spinning in circles is much more of a challenge when you have that much power on a short wheelbase.
It's difficult to launch a manual transmission like that without either the tires or the clutch going up in smoke.
I would love to take that for a test drive. If I had money I didn't know what to do with that would be an awesome upgrade.
