Nice pictures! I have driven the PCH several times but it has always been a rental car. I would love to drive my SKY from San Francisco to Carmel. Let's see how long of a drive from Texas!:willy:

Ditto for me . . . After these shots, I am sticking to my first instinct. By the way, USMC, you are obviously not your ordinary "point and shoot" photographer. What camera?

A couple of weekends back we celebrated our anniversary taking SLY SKY up Hwy 1 from San Francisco to Fort Bragg. We left the camera home but have lots of Kodak moment memories. For anyone interested, the Wharf Master's Inn in Point Arena is our choice place to stay - scenic parking area for our ride!

We'll be back on the coast, Manchester Beach area, 8/4 ... will have SLY SKY again if only the two of us go. Joining family/friends at KOA Kabins.

Back to the area again the last weekend in Sept - this time in Mendocino. Definitely taking SLY SKY.

I actually am just a point and shoot kinda of guy, but in this case I was using my father in laws VPC-5 I think it is. I'm going to have to say that the quality of the pics was probably more credit to the camera than the shooter.. :D

Hey Gunney,
You're killin' me! What, wanna see me cry? That's a great photo shoot and I'll join you when the Sky arrives!
Sorry we weren't able to time our trip together but we'll figure it out.
