My dealer said some official SKY accessories may be available by the time that the SKY is ready for delivery...

Some of them might be really nice to have! He didn't have any details yet...

Has anyone heard anything about either the removable luggage rack or mud flaps??

I don't want huge mud flaps - but if there were some nice subtle ones, they might help protect the lower sides of the car since the body curves inwards behind the wheels...

It has been nice having the dent (and rust) resistant plastic for so long... I'm nervous about having so much metal!!

I emailed them with a couple of questions to see if the accessories they have in production will fit on the SKY. Like the wind screen. I am awaiting an answer. Let everyone know what they say.

I was told they would eventually carry it , but that the one online there now fits the Sky as well as the Solstice.

I went by parts today to check on my order for tonneau cover & car cover, and they had part numbers for both and put them on my order, not available for shipping but the part numbers are in the system.

I'll have to check that with my dealer. Not sure if I want to go with the GM stuff though. I'm going to check the Kappasphere stuff when I get the car. The tonneau requires holes so I don't know if I'll be getting that.

The kappashield has been very well received on the Solstce forum. I'll be getting one of those for my Sky. The Saturn windscreen is hideous and more expensive to boot!

Since that area of the car is the same as the Solstice I would presume that the Kappasphere windscreen should fit on the Sky. Other things like car covers and tonneau covers should be a close fit as well (shouldn't they?).

Windscreen? Windscreen? I don't need no stinking windscreen. What's with all this windscreen talk? I drove a TR3 for years, didn't need no windscreen. All these modern gadgets are taking the fun out of roadsters. Hey my TR3 didn't even have roll up windows, you had to dzues fasten em in. I try to reply to all emails I get... I am sorry if I missed yours. But to answer your question, the kappashield will fit the Sky, we are still expecting our Sky in the beginning of spring, but I think you all know how that goes. Let me know if you have any other questions.
