Needed to find if anybody has replaced front facia on their Sky yet, and if so what was the cost. Got bit by road alligator Friday and have spot in front that is now bent in, at least it did not crack. I might wait for a more substantial break to replace it in the future as road gators are a common occurance here in Vegas. Oh well, at least I got the first damage out of my system...

Damn those road gators! We got them pretty bad on the highways down here in Texas as well. I play dodge' em quite frequently on my road trips.

I know what you mean about road gators here in Las Vegas. That's why I avoid the freeways as much as possible when I'm "casino hopping", especially I-15.

Sorry to hear about your problem. I had a similar experience but when I went to check the fascia I noticed that there were no push pins holding the fascia together on the passenger side. The dealer and I went round and round. He refused to cover it under the warranty while I argued that the damage would never have occurred had the pins been in place. We eventually settled for fifty dollars to repair the damage. The amount is minimal but the entire experience has soured me on Saturn. As a point of information another person that works in the same building as me has a sky, and when I checked her car she was missing the pins in the exact spot. The dealer replaced them.

Dad's Sky

My dad's Sky is in the body shop to see if they can repair the holes the tech made in the front of the bumper to hold the plate one - if they cannot repair they will replace - but should not cost my dad anything since it was the tech who screwed it up even with a note ont he work order to not install the front plate.
