It must be pretty involved, I talked to my dealer Sat. and he said he had been going to classes and studying the new format. I asked him if he would practice on mine. Still waiting on Chrome.

I was wondering the same...but I don't plan on calling my dealer until the first week of May...hoping that by then, they will have a little more to tell me instead of "no change". :banghead: :willy:

I was suppose to have mine last week. The dealer called on Friday and said they should have a better idea when they do their "run" either today or Tuesday. It is very frustrating!:banghead: If UPS, and FedEx can track a pack of gum down to the minutes of delivery, why the :cuss: can't Saturn track a :cuss: car!:brentil:

I posted on this before but it bears repeating
UPS and FedEx can track a pack of gum because they own every truck, jet and van that the item goes in. Therefore it can be scanned and checked and recorded at every stop along the way. When Saturn "releases to transport" it goes into the transports system and we don't see it (By we I say the Saturn dealers and us poor people with Skyjones) until it comes out the other end (dealer delivery). It could be sitting on a train car (waiting a full load on some siding:willy: ) or on a truck, perhaps waiting for 2 more cars:brentil: ... It could actually be ON Saturn and we would not know it...:jester:

Went to my dealer today. Using the GM system I have a TPW of 5-8-2006 and my event status is 3000. I might see my car by late May, early June.

He also said that they have a MAXIMUM production rate of about 750 cars per month (thats' SKYs only, Solstice are not included)

I assume that the GM code of '3000' equates to the old Saturn code of '030', right? Where might I find a complete list of the GM codes?

I went to carrier on 04/08.....No one knows were it is, Which I find hard to believe. the department which ships these cars for Saturn, has to have a way to figure out were the are. If they really do not, they are messed up.

When I ordered a Lexus GS430 new model year back 5 years ago, I got a update week to week were it was in buliding, and when it shipped were it was to the day they said it would be there...and Guess what it was almost to the MINUITE.

Oh well All you can do is wait. I drove by the dealer this afternoon, and all most stopped in, but I know he really can not tell me anything, so why bother him.

Car that is out there some where.
Black car
Black/Red interier
Chrome wheels
Manual
LSD.........etc

I found this over at the Solstice forum:

What are Event Codes?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Event codes show the status of the order in the system. Using your VOM order number the dealer can lookup your status (event code) in the syetem.

1100 preliminary order placed/accepted at dealer
1101 preliminary order added
1102 preliminary order added thru web
2000 order accepted by GM
2001 order generated to dealer
2005 order replaced with GM Prospec order
2030 order re-edited
2050 order changed
2500 order is preferenced or "picked up"
3000 order accepted by production control
3100 order available to be sequenced
3300 order scheduled for production
3400 order broadcast (internal plant order produced)
3800 vehicle produced
4000 vehicle available to ship
4104 bailment invoice
4B00 bayed (note it's a letter "B" not 8)
4106 release bailment
4150 vehicle original invoice (dealer billed)
4200 vehicle shipped
4300 intermediate delivery
4V03 EDD (estimated delivery date)
4800 rail ramp unload
5000 vehicle at dealer
6000 vehicle delivered to customer
