So there’s two County Line BBQs along that 360 route, one N of the river the other S of the river. Which one?
I've been to both many times. we usually prefer the one on 2222, it is on the water, has a larger dinning area and may be better with the social distancing measures in place, and is also a pretty cool old building. It's a couple of blocks from my in-law's house so in all honesty it's probably why we go there more often.

The one on Bee Cave Rd is up on a hill with nice views at sunset. Either location you will get the same food

Then so be it! Sunday Sept 13, @ 11:30 am, County Line BBQ (North location on 2222). All are welcome. Let’s put the word out.

FYI: My “significant other” will be with, (most likely).

I'm a little further south in San Antonio, but if I can find time to join a meet or cruise, I'm in.
I am even further south in Corpus Christi. Could maybe go north to SA but Austin is just too far unless I have something else I am doing at the capitol.

So with regard to forming some form of "CentTex Kappa Club" or "Sky Riders CenTex" or whatever, I believe we now have five of us interested in doing so: krayhons, BlueRL, SKY_RADSTER, steveorama, and myself. I believe SkyVue2, stuck, and Furious have also expressed interest making potentially eight in total. IMO not bad for a beginning. Apologize if I either missed someone out or included someone in error.

I (and my girlfriend) will be at the County Line BBQ north location on 2222, around 11:30am today to meet any of you that can make it. 'Not actually planning a cruise for this initial meeting but more so to exchange contacts so that we can plan a cruise. The intent is to include all locations eventually in the CenTex corridor Corpus Christi to Witchita Falls etc so that interested or potential members can meet up, socialize (C19 not-withstanding), exchange info, show-n-shine, and cruise. You know, all that "good ol' days" stuff. :)

I look forward to meeting all who show up to day for the meet and greet at 11:30. Also if we are looking at expanding our group, we may want to talk with the guys over at SWSC as they often organize events in the North Texas area as well as the annual Kerrville run. They are more active on the Sol forum.

Also @SKY_RADSTER, do you still want me to bring that set of door sills today?

Yes, a very exciting lunch with you guys, much enthusiasm shown over these beautiful machines. A great time, and looking forward to the cruise event. And I agree, let the SWSC guys and know we exist and ready to cruise. Great pic by the way.

Generally can't get any responses from this site or the Solstice forum on cruises or runs, so most of us are hiding over on Facepage, Southwest Solstice/Sky Club / SWSC.
It's a private group so let us know you're from TX & the admins will approve.
Thanks Stuck. Just did actually before your post. Also hoping to utilize the Sky Admirers FB page as well, but obviously it would be nice to direct traffic to the Southwest clubs and groups thread here for its ability to dial in directly for our area and subject matter. All forums are loosing steam with the popularity of FB groups, but the ability to have separate conversations within a forum away from a slurry of “what oil/tires should I use” or pics of Sky’s just washed is nice for those who are just interested in meets and runs in their area. Also I imagine there is still a subsection of those individuals who are not on FB for whatever the reason.
