There is an Article in Automotive News, page 16H, about the Solstice GXP. Says the Solstice GXP will start around $26K. The GXP option is about $6K, which include:

* Gasoline direct injection
* Twin scroll turbocharger with an intercooler that boosts power and eliminates turbo lag
* variable valve timing on both camshafts and lightweight sodium filled valves.
* Unique oil-cooled, low friction cast aluminum pistons.

The redline will have the same 2.0L Ecotec engine rated at 260 hp.:cheers:

I think the $6K also includes things you can't get on the base car, like
Electronic Stability Control Standard
Specific Tires (Goodyear GS-2?)
Suspension tuning

I'm sure there's others, those are the ones that come to mind.

I have had my Sky for two weeks, but may need to look into an upgrade for the fall? :eek: It is a pure pocket rocket.
