The short answer is yes. The longer answer could be had if you do a search for recent postings on that topic. Some have done custom installs themselves and others have had professionals do it. Personally I'd go the professional route, but it does cost more and doesn't come with the pride of knowing you did it yourself.

Yep, missed that. Saw backup camera and went from there. Well, perhaps gmcars be the first to do it. Or at least answer if it is possible.

I have seen installations of GM B/U cameras with screens mounted in the rear view mirror, but nothing larger.

Haven't heard about others using newer GM radios with backup camera and screens, but I started to pay attention to the Apple CarPlay radios and may go with this route instead.

Recently, my radio started having some display issues with the LEDs. Screen would be scrambled, but the audio controls and playback are fine. Sometimes it works normal, but is a sign of things to come.

Love the stock look, but adding a Apple CarPlay radio would add touch-screen, Bluetooth (<2009 = no BT), and would still be able to retain the steering wheel controls etc with the proper installation. This would also free me from having to rest my phone on the little area between the shifter boot and the radio volume knob. Spotify and iTunes work same as directly from your phone.
