Hello everybody,

Recently i got a winter car/ new daily driver. I plan on keeping the sky for a very long time and decided i could not be putting miles on it everyday/ drive it during the winter again. My dad is going to take it off insurance for the winter which means it will be sitting in my garage for a while. I want to get a nice indoor car cover to keep the dust off (also to be used for the summer when not driving it.) And i have already read all of the threads about covers so dont tell me to use the search function haha.

Im looking for a nice fitted car cover. Much like the ones that you see on the exotics at auto shows. Where you can see the outline of the car, and doesnt sag like other covers.

I included some pictures as examples of what im looking for. I also attached a picture of my new winter car (mine is the black one, obviously ):D

Thanks for the help!

Since you've read the other posts, I've nothing to add about covers. But I will say to do due diligence on all the other recommendations for winter storage.
Battery, Rodent protection, gas preservation, tires, mildew, etc.

Rodents are often the surprise pest. They like to eat rubber and wires, and nest "in" the vehicle. I found out this with my daily drivers many years ago!

Thanks for the links guys, im liking the OEM one. and Bogie, iv actually already had a mouse episode with the Sky. When i first got it i had it in the dealership for normal service. When i went to pick it up they gave me a plastic bag full of nest that they found under the engine cover! haha. I set some mousetraps and havent had a problem since.

Love the indoor cover that "Kappasphere" sells and they come in different colors, keeps the car shape and looks cool... I also bought the GM SKY Cover (Gray) for out door use and its really well made... So Check out Kappasphere web-site they are a supporting vender on here....

My personal favorite is air.

If you can see it you will look at it every time you transit the garage and are more likely to observe any issues before they get bad

Also if its covered, it is then a process to get into the car to drive it or to just throw another coat of detail spray on it lovingly. Even in winter there are frequently sunny days when you want to take the car out and exercise it. Its better to be running monthly than sitting.

Just a thought.

I use covers from California Car Covers for my cars and bikes. Their website has good info that will help you make the right choice.

I have used OMNI bags for over 20 years. They are a heavy vinyal tap materal with a zipper on three sides. You drive or roll your car over the bottom , fip it over your car and zip it up. I do use a cotton car cover uner the OMNI bag. WHY???? A car cover covers the top of you car, the under side is unprotected from moisture and inter-action with the cement floor. Also in spring when tem. varies you get condensation on all the underside , under the car cover and engine bay. I use a box of oil dry or cat litter under the car and when I take the car out in the spring it looks just like the day I put it in the bag. MOISTURE is you big problem, connector, electrical, critters ,etc. The OMNI bag solves the mousiture problem and does not let anything in.

sorry sold already
glemont - One thing you have to understand, their are vultures out there lurking (don't contribute as far as communications with the members on here). Once the vultures see something for sale they pounce....
Hopefully our regular members would hold something that they are offering for sale to a regular members on here. If it don't sell then a vulture can have seconds... IMHO
Sorry you missed-out on the cover!
