Well the Pontiac site is finally letting you build your own Solstice. It give me a good Idea of what I will be paying for my Sky.

In other news. I have a friend who test drives cars for a big local paper and she is heading West to test drive a Solstice. She gets to go to Europe to test drive S class stuff next.

I so want her job!

I just had a look at the Options and prices on the site.

I have a few questions on what is standard on the Sky that are listed as "options" on the Solstice site:

1. Is the "Convenience Package" standard on the Sky (I thought it was just the Power Package that was standard)?
2. Is the ABS and/or Limited Slip Differential standard on the Sky?
3. Will OnStar be standard too?

I don’t have my brochure on my right now but it has a list of the options on one of the pages in small print by one of the pictures. I know that the stereo upgrades, leather, limited slip differential, automatic transmission, and smoker’s package are options.

One wierd thing to me was the Leather Package. It was over $2K (CDN) and when you look at the details, it said the "Convenience Pakage" was included as part of the Leather Package, so you can't just buy the leather seats/steering wheel/shifter on its own for a fair price.

I've been pleased with Saturns Customer Service

I went ahead and asked the following questions in terms of what is "standard" and what will be "optional" for the SKY. Please see what I wrote and I will be sure to follow up with you on the response I receive.

Good Day-

Can you please tell me if you have "named" the different package types for the SKY and what features will fall under "standard" and what will be "optional"? OR, if you could tell me if the following fall under standard features:
Leather
ABS
And finally, can you also tell me if any of the Saturn dealerships ever work with after-market companies to upgrade the car and add the cost into the financing? Please advise. Thanks.
