Thanks for posting this. I didn't want to start another thread about lighting.... I want to change my map lights to LED for sure, and maybe the trunk light and backup light (I have a rear view camera). Anything that is simple plug & play (not into adding more lighting-just BRIGHTER lighting)..... A lot of the old threads have old links that don't work anymore.
Can someone recommend the correct (or best) LED map light? There are a gazillion of them for sale online, claiming anywhere from 200% to 500% brighter. I don't know the best brand recommendation, or source. Also, if you happen to know the best LED replacement for trunk and/or backup light, I'd love to upgrade those, too. But the map lights are a must.. Thanks in advance.

I have OM, but was looking for someone who had changed their map lights (mainly) to LED, and was happy with them. Thanks

Gadget had posted a pdf he made not too long ago with LED's for every light on the vehicle. I have a copy.

I have purchased the map, trunk, license plate kit from Viper Lighting. I have not installed them, yet.
I also purchased these Sirius bulb(s)

for my backup light (OEM is shown in pic, also), but it is causing some problems with Pioneer (radio) head, and I'm working through this now. Have to reinstall incandescent bulb to see if that clears up all problems. May have to install resistor, but seller is working with me to see if we can avoid that. We'll see. I have posted more in detail on another thread.
