Continue to be interested in alternatives to mounting the front plate smack dab on the pointy part of the front bumper - saw the holder installed on a Sky and thought it looked as bad as a wart. Position puts the plate way out in front of the car. Yuck! :nonod:

Dealer can legally deliver our Sky w/o installing the front plate bracket as long as we sign waiver.

CA requires both front and rear be displayed.

If I read this section correctly, the good news is the front plate does not have minimum height reqirement.

All Sky owners with front plates, please share what you've done.

I'm NOT going to put the plate on the front of my Sky, I just need to make sure my dealer doesn't drill the holes. (I have been driving my YELLOW car for 4 years without a front plate, and have never had a problem.) If you get pulled over in your Sky without the front plate, if you don't have the holes drilled yet, then just tell the cop you are waiting for the dealer to drill the holes. Great excuse! Can any Cali Sky owners post pics of the car with the holes and or plate?

Will they automatically drill the holes? Hope not..
