BROUGHT OVER FROM THE OTHER SIDE

OK here are the particulars
DATE................09-23-06
Start convene 10 to 10:30 (latest) run starts 11 am sharp
make sure you are there in time to register...sign
the waiver and pay your fee (see below)
Meeting point at the Rest area at MM75 on SR11 approx 17 miles south
of I-90 and approx 30 miles north of I-76
LEG #1 leave the rest area...pass thru Jefferson...visit the long covered bridge (see pics below) and arrive at Ferrante for 12 noon lunch (see below again). Leave Ferrante at 1 pm {hopefully}
Leg #2 lakeshore drive (approx 1 hour)
Leg #3 The covered bridges (appro 1 hours)
Total time including lunch 4-5 hours
The menu at Ferrantes (and the price ) is pre-determined.
The price is $12.00 per person- payable in cash at registration. (no checks please - if possible) The $12.00 includes your lunch ..a beverage... all taxes and tip....i.e. it is all inclusive. The only exception is ....if you (or a group) choose to sample the wines and buy a bottle for lunch...that cost is your own.
Here are the menu choices. It would be appreciated to know by Sept. 20th what are your choices so we can advise Ferrante in advance.
#1 ROMANO CRUSTED CHICKEN SALAD.....Hand breaded chicken breast rolled in romano crumbs, then baken to a golden brown. Served on mixed greens with cheddar cheese, bacon, cucumbers and tomatoes. Served with Ranch dressing
#2 CASA LASAGNA... Traditional layers of meat, romano, parmesan and mozzarella cheese.
#3.....SHRIMP alla SPINACHI- Black tiger shrimp sauteed with fresh spinach leaves and roma tomatoes oilio style with hints of chardonnay wine over linguini pasta. Garnished with fresh grated romao cheese.
#4 PRIMAVERA PANNINI (a vegetarian meal) A wonderful medly of grilled portobello mushrooms, red onion slices, roasted ell peppers, artichoke hearts, and provolone cheese baked to perfectionon our Ciabatta bread. Garnished with a herb/garlic mayo.
I will now post an updated list of the "current" attendees . hopefully there will be more.
Due to reservation factors at Ferrantes it would be appreciated it you would commit the number of people attending...not just the car.
