I posted I just got my Sky in two days went in one day filled out some paperwork to have one made. The next day they called me and told me a guy backed out and I could get it. I debadged it and I have attached some pics, let me know what you think of it. I think it looks AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!

The other car is my buddys evo which is a real monster 11.5 1/4 mile. I am also looking at removing the antenna on the passanger side and putting an internal in does anyone know where to get them. Also the saturn symbol on the back end i want to take them off does anyone know where to get some custom or premade badges to replace them.

Hey Sup!

YOU R 1 LUCKY DOG!

If you could post some bigger pics of your car it would be great!!!! they are way too small for us to see!

You mentioned you "debadged" the Sky...I assume that means you just took the "SKY" off the rear bumper right?

You also said you wanted to take the "Saturn logos" off the Sky?

Before I go into detail about this Debadging thing...Are you sure you want to do that?

I have been thinking about doing this myself over and over...The main two reasons I wanted to debadge the Sky was because:

1. I didn't want anyone to know what kind of car it is but this is based on my second reason below.

2. Before the Sky came out I would have never in a million years bought a Saturn...To me driving in a Saturn would be embarrassing...I didn't want people saying "You drive a saturn?"

But after really thinking about this whole thing once again and after reading such great reviews they gave the Sky in all the car magazines a few things came to mind...

1. In time People are going to know what you're driving anyway so why try to hide it.

2. I was thinking to myself...KUDOS:D to Saturn and GM for creating such an AWSOME roadster...I should be proud of driving this car and showing the Saturn Logo.

3. Debadging in the end will hurt the value of your Sky and if you try to sell it without the badging you got serious issues. I would not buy a Sky without the badgeing and I don't think many of us dedicated Sky owners would either. :nono:

This is just my view on it but I know many who just won't accept Saturn as a viable Car Company. I am happy and proud to say I have!:)

So let me go into detail about debadging your Sky if you still wish to do so:

First off.....

1. There is no way to DEBADGE the front Chrome Saturn Logo...Go attempt to take the Chrome strip off the front of the Sky and you will see what I mean...There is no Black Mesh behind the chrome strip. I already looked into this...there is a thread on this forum about installing the Cold Air induction Kit that shows you a pic of what the Sky looks like without the front Chrome logo strip on the Car.Until an after market top mesh grill comes out you may have to wait on this.

2. If you want to DEBADGE the Saturn logo on the rear of the Sky and between the Seats on the interior they do have replica badgeing for all the different cars like chevy-ford-dodge etc. as well as HARLEY DAVISON and other type logo designs at places like AutoZone and other places...These Replica Badges ARE NOT STICKERS they are actual Plastic/metal replica badges that have adhesive on the backs to stick to your car...You could just stick these over the saturn logos.

Just a few ideas...but personally...be proud of your ride man....I mean Saturn and GM created a car you wanted.....FOR THE LOVE OF GOD....I never believed that would happen for me...but it did!:willy:

I am going thru exactly what you did rite now..... Never in a million years did I even consider thinking about A Saturn let alone buy one. I remember last year was when I first saw a picture of the Sky on my brother's computer...
I was impressed.. and thought this car looked like the "shiet"... until they told me it was a Saturn... I didn't believe it until I saw the logo.. and even then I told them.. it must be a different Saturn...
I must admit.. it's a beaut!!
I'm asian... and as stereotypical as it may be... everyone thinks I should be in a Honda or an Accord... when I purchased my Mustang.. everyone just shooked their heads... so when you said you feared "being embarrassed" for driving a Saturn... i know exactly what u mean.

Even the asian Finance Manager at Saturn asked me... "Why do you even want a Saturn??" when he saw me drive up in my Z. hahahaha... I have a feeling this will be a purchased I will regret just like the Mustang.. but everytime I see this car.. I get excited all over again.

But you can rebadge it with the
- Opel badge
- Daewoo badge
- Vauxhall badge
- Holden badge
and whatever will come in the future.

I myself am thinking about re-rebadging only have to get some Saturn Logos to change it with the Opel lightnings :D
On the other hand nearly nobody in Germany knows Saturn
