Good idea to post the comparison! It looks to me like GM has done a good job at differentiating the two of these cars from a styling standpoint. I can still tell they are related, especially in the rear quarter area, as the general shape of the car is similar. Still, the Solstice’s rounded lines, and the Sky’s more hard edge lines certainly give them different looks. I hate to say it, but the Sky almost looks more sporty to me with its hard edged, aggressive styling. However, the Solstice may have more of a timeless design since it isn’t following the current trend of designing cars with all those hard edged lines.

I'm a little torn. I definately like the rear end of Solstice better but the interior of Sky looks nicer except for the red. The nose of Solstice is different than anything out there where Sky does seem like other cars. It's a tough call, I'll probably stick with Solstice but will go to Philly next month to see them both in person :smile

I agree, seeing the Sky in person will really tell me which I truly do prefer. I find pictures to be very misleading sometimes with automobiles. I liked the Solstice from the pics, but I think it looks much better in person too. The 3d perspective of seeing it in the flesh just lets you appreciate the styling of any car more.
