"Wow, that's one of them new Saturn Skys!"
"Big Deal, it is really rebadged Daewoo!" :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

I agree completely... I wouldn't be looking at a Saturn except for the Sky (I wouldn't even be looking at the Sky except for the Red Line!)Jordan said:I don't know guys...
Alot of people are here that never looked at a Saturn before in their life...
Some feel that having a Saturn badge on the this Sky is a joke...
It is going to do the same thing for Daewoo that it's doing for Saturn, I don't see it as a a completely bad thing.
andthe solstice family is laughing at us, for sure.
Why? They're all Kappa cars, same powertrain, made at the same factory... shouldn't be any more of an embarassment to Sky owners having a Daewoo badged version sold only in Korea than to a Solstice owner.its almost enough to make (me) go for the GXP solstice
I dont understand how thats significant to resale value, but I don't know much about resale and its relation to foreign car marques for that matter.bubblehead1965 said:check the link again, it says....gm plans to sell the gm daewoo domestically next year. limited production car? yeah right just limited to certain badges but certainly available under many different names...i am glad now i decided to get my deposit back and buy my wife the z-4 bmw, for everyone that had questions about resale value....your questions are now answered......
I think domestically meaning "domestically in Korea".bubblehead1965 said:check the link again, it says....gm plans to sell the gm daewoo domestically next year. limited production car? yeah right just limited to certain badges but certainly available under many different names...i am glad now i decided to get my deposit back and buy my wife the z-4 bmw, for everyone that had questions about resale value....your questions are now answered......

Yep... throw away greater quantities of your money on an overpriced ugly car like the Z-4... just so you can long for the day you can get rid of it and get some resale $ out of it..LOLbubblehead1965 said:i am glad now i decided to get my deposit back and buy my wife the z-4 bmw, for everyone that had questions about resale value....your questions are now answered......
Speaking of which... what ever happened to the Dodge Neon/Plymouth Neon plan -- was that considered a failure? I feel like they sold well under both marques.Jordan said:Like they would sell an exact clone on US soil with a different badge...
Have fun with your Z4 I hope your wife enjoys it![]()
