Disappointed!

Two weeks ago called the dealer and they said my car had shipped as of the April 19th. Called yesterday to see if they'd heard anything when they checked the status showed me at 3000 with no TPW date? Now I'm confused:confused: It seemed like my car had been pushed through pretty quick but I figured I got lucky and found a good spot with a dealer that hadn't had many sells. They said they are going to look into. Has anyone else had something similiar happen to them? What's the chances I was thrown back to 3000 in the system while my car was on it's way?

Is it possible the dealer made a mistake?
???? I believe the first Sales Manager I spoke with may have pulled up the wrong order and given me the info on the person in front of me. I hope this isn't the case but looking at others info on this site it would be amazing if my car was built and on it's way that quickly. Old addage maybe if it sounds to good to be true probablly is. That date sounded damn good to me. I'll be contacting them today they are going to get a hold of Saturn and try to verify my status for me.:banghead:
I'm going to agree with Skytime and say that either the dealer made a mistake in giving you the wrong information...or the nice lady at Saturn did. Either way...it's pretty frustrating. :banghead: What is your image date and order #? That might help in determining which party gave you the incorrect info.
I really don't understand how a company like GM can have such a problem with order tracking and communication with customers. I realize that most people see an advertizment and go to the dealer to purchase a car from the lot but the way they deal with special orders sux.
Mistakes happen. They're only human too.....

I have custom ordered almost every car I have ever bought. I bet the same *&^&*&^up info was happening while they built those (2 were Saturns). The big difference?
I never called to ask what was happening...
I ordered and 4-8 weeks later they called to tell me it was in...

It's like sausage -- just eat it -- you really don't want to see it made...:brentil: :banghead:
I was told it would take 14 to 18 days to receive mine but it was right at 30. I am like Rick, except for used, I have ordered every car I have bought and never worried about it until the dealer called to say it was in. The internet and instant know, combined with this web site has made us either more informed or more anxious consumers!
I know I've been over anxious and I'm sure many of us have. When you combine that with poor info. it sucks that's it. Second time I've been told my car would be here the first week of May and then confusion follows. I doubt I could stop checking on it though and I'm understanding of the issues that they are having with communication. GM doesn't deal with a lot of limited production runs with such a high demand so it's understanable that their tracking system is poor.

I completely agree! The first 4 months of our wait I didn't really think about our order since it was just a deposit anyways.

Then after we imaged just 2 months ago, I became crazy and totally addicted to this forum! Now, of course I'm freakin out waiting for this dang car to get here!!

Thanks a lot guys for making me freak out & be so anxious!!! :jester: haha, just kidding of course!!!

I don't think I could give up this site, it's too addictive and I've learned SOOOO much!

:D Look at it this way -- you would not get poor info if you did not ask.... I guess it is just the asked not used to being asked so much, so detailed and often so well informed.

Hang -- The SKY is on thehorizon (Ew -- there was an ugly car!):D
This site is not addictive it is just a way of life.....Skip..he's not an addict....No way just a way of life..that's my excuse....
