Does anyone know if MP3 can also play WMA?
Does anyone have specs on how to make CD's.
I want to start to "rip" my CD collection into the format needed for the Sky.
Thanks
I just dropped a WMA file to cd and it played fine.
From the manual:
The radio will play MP3 files that were recorded on a CD-R or CD-RW disc.
The files can be recored with the following bit rates: 32kbs, 40kbs, 56kbs, 80kbs, 96kbs, 112kbs, 128kbs, 160kbs, 192kbs, 224kbs, 256kbs, and 320kbs or a variable bit rate.
Song title, artist name, and album will be available for display by the radio when recorded using ID3 tags version 1 and 2.
If you burn your own MP3/WMA disc on a personal computer:
- The cd player is able to read and play a maximum of 50 folders, 50 playlists, and 255 files.
- Make sure playlists have a .m3u or .wpl extension.
