Two questions. First, I assume that my image was accepted as my dealer can no longer make any changes to it. At what point can I start to check event codes with that 800 number? Would I have an event code now? I do not have my order number yet, I'll get that on Monday.

Second, what kind of financing have you guys got? Going thru GMAC, what interest rate should I expect? I know that can vary by location and your credit history, but just general ballpark? I have read that it ranges from around 5% to 6.4% is that about right?

First, from what Im hearing, the 800# is only good from Canada and for Canadian orders :banghead:
2nd, Right now GMAC is offer 4.9 or 5.9 depending on how long you want to go BUTT AND I SAY BUTT I heard that they will not be offering special financing on this car, but it all comes down to how good your credit is..good luck

Just for general information, USAA Bank has 6.2% fixed and 5.75% variable. I don't remember what their cap on the variable rate is, but the amount you pay every month will not increase, there will just be an additional payment(s) added on to the length of the loan.

Some of us may use some part Home Equity Line of Credit, which in most cases is linked to the Prime Rate.

event codes and financing

you will not receive a status code until vehicle is accepted for order, at that point it will be status 30. As far as financing no special incentives will be available on initial sky orders, standard gmac rates will apply...hope this helps...your friendly saturn salesguy:thumbs:

financing

Costco members have the option of using "Costco Auto Financing Program".
Rates can be as low as 5.14%. Very easy to use. Apply on line or by phone, they will tell you what rate you qualify for, approve it within minutes, & send you a check for the full financed amount that any new or used car dealer in the country can accept.
I did it on line & got the lowest rate, approved in 3 minutes, & they mailed the check right out to me.
The added benefit is that if you don't use the check there is no cost to you at all, no obligation. The only drawback for people waiting for their Skys to arrive is that the check is only good for 45 days.

Much more info on Costco.com
Hope this helps.:)

Ditto, I got mine through costco at the same rate you listed. Really painless.
