It's always nice to see how they describe where the damage is...if u were standing in the the rear...it would be the left rear end...standing in front, it is the right rear end....why don't they just say either driver/passenger side...ya think?

Sorry MM but you always call which side of the car is from the rear as in left hand drive,it doesn't change to right hand drive from the front:lol:

Not the original post, the CL ad.
You can't be sure the seller is clueless, maybe that is the only RHD Kappa in existence, and the photo was reversed.

08 Saturn Sky - $3600, Manual, Silver, North of Tucson, AZ

Please Read Entire Post! (His words, not mine)

I am selling my 08 Saturn Sky. It has Red/Black interior in Phenomenal shape. 20" premium wheels, scoop hood, manual transmission (works great), top in excellent condition (works as it should, no leaks), Engine has 32K original miles (no leaks or noises).

I bought this car from a guy who got it at an aucton (car was hit in front passangers side quarter panel). The guy I bought it from put new parts on (quarter panel, bumper, hood). He lowered the car with different springs (I have the originals ones) and then he had to move. I bought it thinking I would get the car ready for the road and get a "Insured Title" But I just don't have the time. I did drive the car from Phoenix to Tucson when I bought it (no problems).

Here's what I know: The lights need some work. When I turn on the right turn signal the horn goes off. The night time running lights don't go on but the head lights and break lights work (I think it might be a fuse).... just a guess.

There is no Title! Our plan was to get the lights working, take it to the DMV so it can pass an inspection to make sure it's ready for the road and then get a "Insured Title" so it can be registered. It's like a salvage title!

I will post pictures when the rain stops. Please contact me it you have any questions or want to come see he car.

07, $2,500, Troy, MI

2007 Saturn Sky Project Car (Needs Work).

I bought this Saturn Sky a few years ago. It was in rough shape after being stolen and severely vandalized. Even with the damage, it has a normal, green Michigan title. Not an orange rebuilt/salvage title. I intended to do the bodywork and then replace the motor or install a turbo. That never happened. Now I’m away at college again and probably won’t be back in town for a year or two so I won’t be able to work on it at all. Help me give my parents’ garage back to them. I told my father to take the first $2,500 cash offer.

The car is still in rough shape. It looks good driving down the street. You can see that in the pictures. It's a cool little car. It was fun to drive at the dream cruise this year but that ended poorly. The transmission is now slipping and missing shifts. The good news is that it shares the transmission with many GM cars so a trip to the junkyard will be required. I recommend US Auto Supply of Sterling Heights (and Wayne now, too). They sell them for $100.

I did a lot of bodywork on the car but it was a learning experience (it shows). I put epoxy primer on the whole car and topped it with removable PlastiDip rubber paint. It should peel off easily for any additional bodywork you may want to do to it. I installed two brand new doors and window tracks/motors. The window glass is not installed yet and the interior door panels need to be installed. The interior is in decent shape. The convertible top has some wear but isn’t ripped.

This car only has 70,000 miles on it and rides smoothly down the road but with the motor and trans not working properly, it probably shouldn’t be driven more than twenty miles. If you need to take it farther I would plan to tow it.

If you want a unique project car contact me with any questions. It will definitely make a fun restoration or project. I just wish I had time to do it.

Please send emails with any questions or to arrange a time when you would like to see it.

That mat green is better than the original green they had....and the car looks in pretty good shape...at least from appearances. For 2500...priced to sell.

I like the matte green, but you can tell its a 20 footer car. Plasti dip is hard to get even. I am considering wrapping mine in satin ruby red (similar to the special edition) vinyl this winter.

2008 Saturn Sky Redline
$3,000
Richmond, TX
Looking for a parts car or a LS3 upgrade project? This 2008 Saturn Sky Redline has only 61K, but a bad engine. Timing chain guide broke while driving and a valve kissed a piston. Everything else works and is in good condition. Make an offer if you're interested. I'm not parting it out. Selling as is. I'm located in the Houston Texas area.
