Okay who has hooked up the factory Sirius XM antenna on the trunk to either a aftermarket radio in the car or a portable unit? If so what did you need ? Did you need an adapter did you need just an antenna extension? Yes I use a portable unit because I go from one car to the other car to a Boombox for camping to my home stereo. why pay for 4 subscriptions when you only need 1.

The factory XM box is near the antenna in the trunk behind the carpet liner on the passenger side below/in front of the right rear light cluster. So yes, you'll need an antenna extension to the front of the car AND and adapter/connector to attach to the existing cable connector in the trunk.

Others have done this, possibly on the Solstice or Kappaperformance forums. I remember seeing the connector type identified - but you'll need to search.
