I have a 2009 redline, 5 speed manual, mostly stock minus a CAI, muffler deleted exhaust, and 255 tires. Lately ive been noticing a faint but noticeable vibration coming from what appears to be the transmission area at about 2000-2500 rpms and up. Any ideas what might be causing this? The car has 97k miles and its never given me any major issues yet, hoping this isnt the start of a big problem. Any help would be appreciated before i pay a shop diag fees. Thanks in advance!

Is the vibration felt at a stop or only when driving?

If the former, might be leaky engine mounts (check both sides for seepage).

If the latter, could be a as simple as loose bolts on the transmission tube.

This could also be similar to my issue. But mine is at a bit lower RPM (1k-1.5k). I believe my balancer chain skipped a link. I'll know more in a few weeks when it warms up enough to work on it without freezing my hands.

Its only when moving, and for some odd reason it seems to have stopped. Not sure what it was, but i noticed that it quit when the weather got cold again so maybe a bad bushing somewhere? Either way its not acting up now so....
