Yellow is not as fast as green...Hmm -- looking at mine --> 7000? Different driving I guess.
I'm at 1500 miles and plan on doing it this weekend. I'm thinking of switching to the Mobile 1. Speed? Green all the way:thumbs: That's why we've nicknamed ours "The Green Hornet"Yellow is not as fast as green...![]()
BLACK gets 20% at 3000 miles ,it is the fastest color SKY you know..
whoa! I must drive a little to hard.Went to Mobil 1 at 1000 miles.
At 5000 miles now and DIC reads 78%.
The only thing Black is faster at is getting dirty looking...:lol:Yellow is not as fast as green...![]()

Supposedly the oil life % in your car is calculated from sensors for different things -- in short every person's oil life will be different, based on how they drive (legth, speed - stop & go etc) so the OnStar report as Donna shows says you should change at 20%... For some people that may be 7000 for other 10000.....So Mobil 1 is the way to go?
It also sounds like we should listen to the DIC and On-Star and forget about the old 3,000 or 5,000 mile rule. Geph says when rotating the tires, but isn't that every 10,000 miles? Aaaannd, DonnaSky is say it's telling her do change in 8,500. I'm so confused![]()

I went to mobil 1 at 1000 miles and my DIC now reads 25% with 7000miles
it dropped 75% in 6000 miles, yours dropped 22% in 4000 miles.
either I need to slow down a bit or you need to romp on that thing once in awhile! :jester:
