Received a call from Saturn last night asking me how I like my Sky. She works for Saturn, not the dealer. Spoke to her about the redline, she said the first redline will be released for sale on June 26.

You'll learn in time that most of the customer service people don't know what they are talking about. Heck most of the dealer's don't either.

You will not see a Red Line untill fall. They haven't even made any pre-production's of the Red Line yet. But so far there has been about 20 Pre-production GXP"S made.

Actually, from what my buddies tell me about the Boxwood Plant. They have several SKY Redlines up there that they have been built, test driven, etc for a while now. He said they have 20-30 of them in the parking lot.

While I have no proof of it, I tend to believe him because he knew alot and told me alot about the SKY production.

First of all the Sky's are made in Willmington plant not Boxwood plant ! Second when I say pre-production I'm talking about being made on the production line in Willmington. Not made somewhere else for the Car expo's show's. I have my inside source and they have only made around 20 pre-production GXP"S so far.

I know it's on Boxwood Rd. I was implying that the person that is telling them info doesn't even know the name of the plant. So clearly you don't know what your talking about. You should know about 5% of what I know about the Solstice and they Sky! I'll leave it at that, sweetie.

It is commonly called the Boxwood Plant. Since I work about 10 minutes away from it and live about 30 minutes from it, I think I know..... :willy:

wow!! I live less than a mile from the Wilmington Plant. Everyone here refers to it as the Boxwood plant. Either way, there is no need to get upset about it.

No Redline or GXP production cars are to be made until July-August! Period!

Yes, there are pre-production Redline and GXP cars on the road today! More pre-production cars will be built in July for a mass test by GM testers. Once they are done with testing the line will go to production status.

Lol, wow...

Yes, the GM Wilmington Plant, ie, Boxwood Plant if you are from around here at all. ;)

Like Spag here, I live about 7 miles from the plant and have many friends and neighbors that work there from managment down to the assembly workers.

So like I said, I'd believe those that work there, assemble them and tell me even if I don't have any documented proof.

I'm not saying I know a ton about them, but being this close to the plant, seeing them, talking to the people from the plant gives you a bunch of info. My Neighbor brought me some extra parts for my SKY and gives me some good advice about the SKY in general based off of the problems they've had on the assembly line.

That's the best kind of info, Tyler...the insider stuff (unless, of course, we're talking about securities and stocks) :D

Sorry, I'm from Ct. and never heard of it called the boxwood plant, I wasn't upset ,just sounded strange to me. But either way you are not going to see any Production GXP's or Red Lines out untill end of September or October the earliest. Just want everyone to be realistic.

Hey tyler07, you have to get us more info then. I know my source said they are being really quiet with any info. And they work there also. See what you can do.

I told them no such thing. Others may have. Perhaps your reading comprehension skills need some polishing as well. :)

Did you see your quote that I put in my post ???? That was a quote from you. If it wasn't pertaining to me, I sorry for my reply, I'll delete it all together. When someone ticks me off I can't stop myself. Bad habit.

No Way June 26

Here's a response I got in writing from Saturn this morning:
" Thank you for your interest in the new Sky Red Line, which will be released in the 4th quarter of this year".
They recommended contacting the nearest Saturn retailer to
inquire if they are taking orders and/or deposits at this time on the Sky
Red Line.
Some dealers are taking deposits and some others are not but waiting until they have the go to place orders, probably after prices are announced.
I'm guessing you wont see a production Redline till November or so.

Luke you should start a new thread on this all together. Maybe the rumors will stop.
